From the heartfelt vows during the ceremony to the singing and dancing their hearts out at the reception, I think it's pretty safe to say this is a night not only Jenna and Buddy will never forget, but one that each and every one of their guests will forever hold close to their heart.  It was a magical evening.

Kelly and I had a blast photographing Jenna and Buddy's special day, and we wish them many, many years of happiness and blessings.  Thank you for trusting us to capture such a special moment in your lives, and Congrats again to the new Mr. and Mrs.

Kathleen, Lance, and little Landon pulled up right on time.  I knew Landon was adorable from the pics I've seen on facebook, but his little personality, pleasant demeanor, and killer smile made me one happy photographer.  We had so much fun working with the Udasco family, and I was extremely happy to bring Jaclyn with me as my assistant on such a great introductory shoot!  She did fabulous.

Udasco Family, you guys were troopers dealing with the heat, especially a very EIGHT month pregnant Mommy.  I appreciate you choosing me to capture such wonderful moments in your life, and I really hope to keep doing so for you, as your family of 3 soon becomes 4!

We normally do most of our shoots at Batsto Village but were excited to go somewhere different at the request of the bride and groom.  After some (ehh emm...A LOT) of rescheduling due to weather, scheduling conflicts, or illness, we finally made it happen, and we could not have had a more gorgeous night!

We braved the gnats, the mud, and the geese, and were able to capture some really great shots for these two.

I also want to thank Kelly for her hard work.  She really killed it with some awesome images which are mixed in here as well.

Congrats guys on your engagement and we cannot wait until October to celebrate your Wedding!!

After years of growing out his hair Buddy is finally ready to say BYE-BYE.  He is getting ready to chop off those golden locks and donate to a wonderful cause.  That's pretty awesome, Bud.  So of course we had to get a shot to commemorate the Fabio years.  No matter your hair cut Bud, you will always be handsome.

I had been anticipating this engagement session with Aislynn and Nick since the day Aislynn asked me to photograph her wedding.  I knew heading in that this was going to be a fun, magical shoot, and I sure was right!!

I have known these two for most of my life.  I watched them conquer triumphs and tribulations together, and got to witness their relationship grow.  They are passionate individuals who together form a strength that is unstoppable.  They make each other laugh daily, and are genuinely kind, in so many ways.  It may have taken twenty-something years for them to realize that they are indeed soulmates, but once they figured it out, they became inseparable.

A funny fact that a lot of people don't know is that this little union was made possible (well maybe just nudged along haha) by YOURS TRULY!!  It was a beautiful, fun night at the Buchanan's Tiki Bar, when these two souls, who had known each other for pretty much their entire lives, finally realized what had been right in front of them the entire time, and I take full responsibility!!  ...  HaHa ... not really, but I did say to Nick, "Hey, you know Aislynn is single?"  To which he responded.. "REALLY??" with excitement all over his face.  So, there it is, my matchmaking debut and retirement!!  :-)

In all seriousness, I am so genuinely happy for these two.  They love with all their hearts, each other, their fur-babies, their family, and their friends.  Aislynn and Nick are one of those couples that just fit, and it was beyond apparent as we strolled through Batsto Village on this perfectly beautiful evening we had been waiting for.  Big thanks to Kelly for second shooting with me, and capturing some amazing moments as well.  I literally edited this entire session with a HUGE smile on my face, and I hope as you scroll through you will feel the joy and love that pours out of each of these images.

I have known Shane now since I was about 10 years old, which makes photographing his children even that much more special.  Shane has always been a genuine, caring guy, with a fun personality, and his wife and children are no different.  I knew a year ago at our first session together, that I could not wait to capture more memories, for this awesome, growing family. 

Not only are Shane, Rielle, and family gorgeous on the outside, they are the most easy going, fun people to work with, and I just could not wait to meet their newest addition, the handsome Gavin.  Big sister, Charleston, welcomed us right into their home to meet her brother, who she absolutely adores.  She is the sweetest little girl and just melted my heart every time she put her hands up for me to hold her.  She even had Kelly reading books to her by the end of our session.  I think what got me the most though was how she just stared at her brother, and gently kissed his head.  She's already mastered the big sister role.

Shane, Rielle, Charlie, and Gavin, I had a blast with you and am honored you welcomed us into your home to capture such a special time in your lives.  Rielle is a superstar, as she is barely 2 weeks post C-Section and jumping all around, taking care of her little ones, like she didn't just go through major surgery.  Impressive.  This is a special family, and I am so glad Kelly, and I get to be a part of capturing their journey.  

Congratulations on the birth of your precious son, may God bless your family.

I am so excited for the weather to warm up so we can get out there and have more amazing shoots like this one.  Lots of gorgeous families booked for the next couple months, and I am so excited to get back to doing what I love....creating these beautiful moments, that will be cherished for lifetimes.

Here are some of my favorite images from my BRIGHT and SUNNY and COLD afternoon with Justin and Samantha.  What a wonderful relationship these two have.  I love how much they make each other laugh, and you are about to see exactly what I mean.  I had so much fun with them, and look forward to many more shoots with these two!!

Photography for me, started as a hobby, and rapidly turned into a very small business, which is just how I love it.  Intimate and small, and choosing exactly what I love to capture.  I LOVE creating moments and capturing memories for families, that will be treasured for lifetimes.  It is something that brings me true joy.  My family and friends have been nothing but supportive and I could not be more thankful.  This year I am going to obviously going to be pursuing my passion of photography, but also, I am going to really enjoy the life that I am blessed enough to have, and soak in each moment.  

I look so forward to what 2018 has in store.  My son starting kindergarten, myself getting more comfortable at my new job, my husbands career doing nothing but consistently rising, my amazing and hilarious family and friends, oh and of course my new nephew who is due in early 2018.  All of this will of course be accompanied by my love of photography as I strive to grow and learn so much more about my craft.  I cannot wait!!

I made some serious goals for 2018, and one of them is to shoot what I truly enjoy.  I have realized what I love to capture, how I love to capture it, and I am going to be sticking to that.  

2017 was a great year and I definitely have grown.  My style is all over the place sometimes and I am ok with that.  When it comes to MY art of photography, I go with the flow and the mood of what the image calls for.  I know that it is highly encouraged to stick to one style, but I find that impossible (maybe bc I get bored so easily haha).  Each shoot is different and calls for a certain mood of editing and that's just what I do.  Maybe that's my style, I don't have one hahaha.

Well, anyway, here are a few of my favorites for 2017.  And thank you so much to my clients, my friends, my family!!  Enjoy!

One thing about Jen and Joe is that from the moment their children are born they are already gorgeous, so creating beautiful images is that much easier.  With only slight direction, this easy going, beautiful, fun-filled family allowed me to preserve some stunning, and incredibly meaningful memories for them.  These images are by far some of my most favorite moments I've ever captured.

I now know that lifestyle photography in general is my niche' and my ultimate favorite thing to shoot.  Lifestyle newborn, is top on that list.  Please take a moment and soak in the pure goodness that this family is.  Their beauty and love for each other radiates out of them.  My only hope is I was able to do them justice, and really allow that to shine through.

You could see the genuine love they have for one another, and I for one could not get enough of Fallon's stunning dimples!!  What a great couple.  Congrats again Fallon and Ian.  Thanks for trusting us to capture some really great moments.

As we move forward 3 years to present day, the Pettis family has also "grown".  They welcomed this little angel, Isabel Emily into the world.  Isabel could not be more loved. Her Mommy and Daddy, and even her big brother Nick, just stared at this precious being as the love beamed out of them.  How could you not stare?  As you will see, she is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I am so thankful that Christina and Kevin have trusted me again to document such an important time in their lives.  I love how our shoot turned out, and I really feel like these images show just how loved this little one is, already.

Each of these children are polite, kind, and did I mention stunning.  They have the GREATEST personalities.  As you will see, getting them to laugh with each other did not prove to be a hard task at all, and I had a blast working with them.

Lifestyle photography is becoming my most favorite thing to shoot, and what I genuinely think I am best at.  I may give a small direction every now and then, but for the most part, what you see is what you get.  It is pure, and raw, and real, and I love it.  

This family is one of the greats.  They make each other laugh, they love with all their hearts, and they simply enjoy being together.  I was lucky enough to witness a small part of this while photographing them just hanging out in their kitchen, baking a cake.

I could not stop editing once I started, so here is a little blog I just HAD to throw together to show how amazing our afternoon was.  I am so happy to be able to capture these memories for the Feniola family, and I hope to make these type of lifestyle sessions a HUGE part of Stone Light Photography.  Enjoy.

This past week was no different.  I got to meet up with an old high school friend who I haven't seen in over 15 years.  I visited her beautiful home, met her gorgeous family, and just hung out and laughed, while taking some pictures.  I could not be more happy with the way this shoot went, and the precious moments, Kelly and I, captured of Christina, Nate, and these stunning children.

We met up in a near by park to take a few family shots, and ended up back at my studio to let Charlie dig into her cake, and that she did.  She was covered from head to toe and it couldn't have gone more perfect.  This cutie pie has the prettiest eyes and lips, as you will see, and I can't wait to watch her grow and keep capturing these important milestones in this awesome families lives.

We arrived at Lisa's mom's house where she and her bridesmaids would be getting ready.  Lisa was laid back, calm, and absolutely breathtaking.  She was going with the flow and enjoying each moment the day had to offer.  One of my favorite moments from the day was watching Lisa's bridesmaids put her dress on ever so carefully over her head, not to mess up her hair or makeup.  Everyone was laughing so hard, I couldn't help but to smile, and Lisa's expression was that of a pure and genuine moment of joy, with the girls she chose to stand by her side.  After Lisa's Mom finished dressing her little girl, we were off to Brigalia's where Lisa would marry her Groom.

Lisa and Derek opted to do a first look, which I was so excited for.  I had her peek out of the church to see Derek, who was waiting with his back to his soon to be bride with intense eagerness.  Lisa slowly walked out towards her groom, and as he turned around his face said it all... SHE WAS STUNNING, and he was in LOVE!!  After a few moments of them basking in the moment, and capturing some great images, we began to prepare for the ceremony.  

What a beautiful ceremony it was.  The emotion that poured out of Lisa as she pledged her vows to Derek was felt by everyone in the Chapel.  Derek had the look of pride and joy written all over his face, and he couldn't wait to plant one on his wife, after they said "I DO".  "Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Mason".  The chapel erupted in applause, and we were all on our way to celebrate this wonderful union.

The reception was nothing short of fun as you will see, and I had a blast right along with all the guests.  I will say that I truly had a great time being able to capture this special day, and I may even do it again in the future..haha.  I wish Lisa and Derek nothing but blessings of health, happiness, and pure love.  Thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day.  Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day. Franklin was a real trooper because as soon as he walked in he darted back to the play room as if he knew it was there, haha, and even after seeing all those fun toys, we still were able to get him to sit for a pretty great session.   It was pretty cool because after the photoshoot Franklin and my son, Mason, got to play together for a little bit and I got to catch up with an old friend.  This is one of the reasons I love what I do.  I not only captured some wonderful memories that will be cherished forever, I had a blast while doing it.

I am extremely lucky to have had so many returning clients, and many new ones.  I can't wait to keep capturing these awesome memories for you guys throughout the years.  I continue to push myself and learn something new every day.  I am lucky and blessed to be able to put forth such an effort into a craft I so deeply love and I want to thank my husband for supporting my endeavors, and my son for allowing me to use him as a guinea pig just about every day this year...haha.

Mason is such a blessing to Luke and I, and our entire family!  He brings a joy and love to us that completes our family! When Mason was first born he had some breathing difficulties and ended up spending a month in the NICU.  With prayers and great Doctors at CHOP he came home safely and healthily to us and we never ever take a single second for granted.  I wanted to capture every moment of this little miracle's life which led me to photography.  I really started studying as much as I could, and my built in subject was an awesome way to practice.  

This year was pretty good for me as far as photography goes, I really learned a lot.  I'm sooo not even close to where I want to be professionally, but personally I'm extremely happy with the moments in time I was able to capture this year of our little boy.  So here are some of my favorite images from 2016, of my favorite little person, Mason Luke.  Hope you enjoy!

My favorite time of year is in full effect as we are only a few days away from Christmas Day!!  I did a good amount of Christmas photoshoots this year and thought I would go through and write up a little blog highlighting all of my favorites from this magical time of year!!  I did most of the shoots indoors in my little studio but when the weather wasn't too frigid, I ran full speed outside to soak up some of that magical winter light (which promptly turns off around 4:45pm haha).

After finding the perfect tree with my little man it was time to head back into the studio and get to work.  My first model was my son's future wife...Abbie.  I absolutely love getting to photograph her and capture those BIG BEAUTIFUL eyes!!

After a few days of pretty steady mini photoshoots lined up, I was able to really get into the swing of things and start having a lot of fun with these kids, and families, some of whom were here for the second or third time, and some new friends (I call them friends not clients) I was so lucky to meet this year.  Most of the time the shoots went really wonderfully and smoothly...

aaand...sometimes they didn't go as smooth as they could have...Haha. But hey, these moments tend to be some of my favorites.

After all is said and done we had a wonderful photo season this Christmas, and now it's time to relax and enjoy the holiday with our friends and family.  Thanks to all of you for trusting me to capture some really precious memories.  I hope to keep documenting these wonderful times in your lives.  Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Although it was extremely hard to narrow it down and pick a few favorites for this blog I think I did it.  Enjoy this little man's cuteness...I sure did!

It's almost a kinship, that's the only way I can describe the joy I feel when I witness, and get to be a part of, such an amazing story.  I feel every emotion that the Logan's feel from the fear, to the desperation, to the complete and utter REJOICE. 

As most of you know I only began diving into photography when God blessed me with my precious gift, and this photo shoot was nothing short of a full circle moment for me.  This is why I began photography.  These are the moments I want to capture.  This is my reason!

I know that these little people, who make our world complete, were always destined to be EXACTLY where they are right now, and for that we are the lucky ones.

God Bless this awesome family.  I'm in awe of your spirit, your humor, your spunk, and most of all your unconditional love that shines through.  (and I only spent an hour with you!!!)  Mia is blessed to have you all, but I know how blessed and honored you all are, to have her!  Congrats!

We will soon get to experience one of those beautiful high moments.  In a few short months Marissa will marry the man of her dreams, and I could not be happier for her.  Evan is one of THE most wonderful human beings I have ever met.  He is an old soul with a heart of gold and the two of them compliment each other better than any couple I know.  Yesterday we celebrated with a beautiful wedding shower for these two love birds, and I had the pleasure of taking some pictures of the special day.  Here are a few of my favorite images of this beautiful bride-to-be and her incredibly handsome fiance's day.  No one on this EARTH deserves this more than you do.  Here's to Earl + Pearl!!

Around my sons first birthday his Dad and I went to a park not far from us.  We walked around on a brisk afternoon and soaked in everything around us.  As I have mentioned in prior blogs my love and passion for photography officially set in after my son was born, as I wanted to capture every smile, every laugh, every 'moment' of his existence!  We walked around on that beautiful day taking pictures of this wonderful moment in our lives not realizing we would forever look back and realize what had really begun.

My husband sat down on a bench overlooking the lake.  My son, being in the beginning stages of walking, slowly stumbled his way over to the bench so he could sit with his Daddy.  It was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen.  These two boys who loved each other deeply, overlooking such a serene and beautiful lake.  It gave me such a sense of peace and filled me with complete joy.  This quickly became one of my favorite moments in time.  I just HAD to capture this scene.

We wrapped up our day shortly after the boys had their rest on the bench and went out to a nice dinner.  When we got home I sat down at my computer to go through the images from our excursion and "the bench" was by far one of my favorites.  It wasn't anything really technical from a photography standpoint but the emotion and potential that this picture embodied was beyond what I had realized at that moment.  I quickly studied the image as I saw my sons little head didn't quite reach very far over the back of the bench and thought how wonderful it would be to watch him grow each year with the assistance of this bench.  I thought about the years to come as my sons full head, than shoulders, than back would show fully.  I thought about how my husbands head might sink down a bit as he aged.  I thought how each year would bring such similarities but such an immense amount of change as the moments in our lives would be taking place in between each visit.  I dreamed about being able to add to that bench, whether it be with more children of our own, or with our beautiful grandchildren.  Oh, the possibilities of this bench.  It was the foundation of a moment in my life, that was sure to hold many more moments, that would be forever ingrained on my soul.

It may not look like a whole lot has changed from year to year, but the moments in between, are those of abundance.  I am in love with this project, and though I am so excited to see the pictures through the years, I am thrilled to slow down and thoroughly bask in each moment in between.  Take some time out, slow down, and go sit on a bench by the water.  Who knows what moments you may take away with you.

Year 7 - This year the bench is moved down a few feet from the tree but next to it now is a cool plaque that tells all about Hammonton Lake and the animals that habitat there.  Also, Mason's feet are now fully flat on the ground.  I cannot wait to see what next year brings!!
